Just before 8 o’clock on Saturday, a motorcycle and a car collided, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.
According to a Pennsylvania State Police investigation, Travis Bintrim, 49, of New Castle passed away at the hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained in the collision.
According to a press announcement, Bintrim was struck by an SUV that was traveling west on Harlansburg Road in Scott Township after swerving into the opposing lane. Bintrim and his 14-year-old companion were both thrown from the car.

The teen was injured severely and rushed to the hospital.
Both the SUV’s driver and passenger were transported to the hospital with minor wounds.
The investigation is ongoing, according to PSP, and charges are pending.
